Compton Lacey have long established management systems within the practice for both administration and project running, which are used by all of our staff. Our current model is the RIBA Quality Management System. We have recently become a RIBA Chartered Practice.
Over the years we have developed our own procedures and methods of working, which involve such items as standard graphics for CAD, drawing issue and project data sheets, practice data base, risk assessments, job register and other computerised pro formas.
For running projects we use the standard RIBA pro formas, NBS specification and have the technical backing of a managed RIBA library system.
In terms of internal communication, we hold regular office meetings, individual project review meetings and operate a drawing checking system.
On the broader educational front, we ensure that all staff have CPD training and student employees are encouraged and helped to qualify.
Our policy statements cover environment, quality management, health & safety, employment, equal opportunities and waste management.
